It Was A Moment In Turning My Gaze To The Other by Khaled Bouallegui

I am a Muslim and I could hear of the other religions from a distance, but at a given moment, I wanted to discover the other of religions. I read the Bible and the Torah and then I realized that they have the same values – the objectives of all the heavenly books are peace. Why are not all religions taught in all States normally and naturally until we achieve unity and move away from the divisions? Until our understanding of the religions properly takes us away from extremism and war? We are studying the language of the other, then why do we not study the other’s religion? We must fully understand and accept the other’s language and religion.
