Beirut’s skyline is crowded with cranes raising luxury apartments which can be found in all big cities around the World.
So naturally, my eyes and my camera were drawn to the apartment that are still standing right next to the old ones with hundreds of bullets in their walls.
I wondered if they are a reminder of what could happen when interfaith and coexistence are absent.
I got closer, I walked around this flat which is now surrounded with “life” and then I stopped, I touched its wall and this question took over my brain: “Was is worth it?” — in Beirut, Lebanon.
