Sweet tender night time at Essaouira by Amal Asebriy, Morocco – photo essay –

Somewhere along the west coast of Morocco, there is this small city called Essaouira. One of the most underrated cities of the kingdom. It’s however known for its considerably windy weather, surf beaches and artistic people. Previously seized by the Romans and Portuguese, it eventually served as a home for Moroccan Jews. This city has a whole story to tell. While on a night stroll around the city, I couldn’t help but to be captivated by the colors surrounding me from every corner, the light tender wind that blows my hair out and the authenticity of its pavements. The charms of the “quiet” city, as I like to describe it, are undeniable and most definitely inevitable. I hope you enjoy the pics as much as I did taking them.
