“Women in My Country”

For thousand of years, Iranian women only were given two jobs: cooking food and giving birth to many children. But like anything in this world, it changed. Today people understand that if we want a strong social community we need to involve every one. We need to involve women as well as men.

Women of my country are now trying to be seen and heard. If you take a look at their faces you can see the scars and even sometimes… the traces the slaps left. For thousand of years, they were hurt, but each time they did their best to thrive again and to stand strong.
